Catherine DeZelar Krause is retired and living in Guanajuato City in Mexico.
She was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, USA and grew up in Inver Grove Heights, a suburb of St. Paul.
She attended Winona State University in Winona Minnesota and received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Science. While there, she met her future husband, Kevin Krause.
Catherine has lived and worked in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota, the Seattle area, and Carson City, Nevada.
Catherine received an MBA from Seattle University.
Catherine and Kevin sailed a boat down the US coast from the Seattle area to Mexico and spent 17 months traveling in Mexico on and off their boat from 2004-2006. This adventure is documented on the website The Voyage of Tao Min: http://www.mytripjournal.com/taomin&p=1&m=0&a=Baja_California.
Catherine and Kevin retired to Mexico in 2018. They were in 20 countries in 2019. They were in one city, Mazatlán, in 2020. They moved to Guanajuato in 2021.
The purpose of this blog is simply to share various things that might be helpful to others, might be entertaining, or other random things I come up with. This is my first blog, so I expect it to evolve over time. I also welcome comments that make suggestions for topics that I might include in future blog posts.
